On Nov 25 2024 the Monday before Thanksgiving a fence began going up along the perimeter of the course. On Monday Dec 2 an injured deer was reported and believed “put down”, on that same day a resident posted that a deer was in her yard which is not on the course and on Tues Dec 3 a Facebook post said a deer in the middle of the road on Fox Hearst. The fence is allowed as long as it stays within county guidelines for fences.
Due to Hurricane Milton and the amount of debris still remaining at our curbs the community yard sale has been rescheduled for Dec 6 & 7
Pebble Creek Village residents who wish to proceed with putting items out for sale may still do so on Oct 25 & 26 however but you may not get much traffic and safety is an issue. Proceed with caution. Please be sure you are a “Village “ resident.
TECO had cleaned out branches encrouching the raised power lines between PC and Cross Creek quite a while back. There are TECO stakes and flags along Regents Park at the south entrance. They are planning to bury the lines at some point but it probably won’t be until 2025. We hope this improves our power losses during storms especially for our Village residents along Regents !
On June 17, 2024 there was a car chase and fatal shooting at our South Entrance.
The Village HOA now owns the middle and south entrances and we are currently working with our landscaping company to improve the looks of them. Keep an eye out for new foliage and fresh mulch soon!

The ruts in the grass on the easement at our south entrance caused as a result of large work vehicles used by the county contractors while improving our roads has been repaired as of 5/30/24. The area was sodded over and though a little brown it is expected to be successful. I am told it will be monitored.
The new lighted crosswalk sign in the median at the middle entrance was unfortunately struck by a car and it was knocked down. The driver claimed to be “ok” at the scene. We made the county aware and they have begun to dismantle it as of 5/30/24 and assessing it for parts needed to repair and reinstall. There are still lighted crossing signs on each side of the road. UPDATE: a regular county crosswalk road sign was run down and split in half on or around
June 6. Please stay alert, drive with caution
County again notified
January 9 2024 the new board took office
The 4 way stop at Regents Park and Pebble Creek Drive continues to have issues with vehicles running thru it, sometimes it’s a slow roll other times it’s no attempt to slow or to stop at all. We have contacted the public works department and they were very responsive but all that can be offered right now is to increased the sheriffs presence at that stop. They put in a request for us to have a Hillsborough County Sheriff station themselves at that stop and see what they can do to slow people down and enforce stopping at the sign. It is a violation and a ticketable offense to speed on Regents Park and it is a ticketable action to run that stop sign.
Speed humps are not an option due to Regents being a thru fare, in addition humps are now the community‘s responsibility financially. We are looking into trimming of branches that are encroaching on the stop sign.
