With all of the rain we’ve been having this August there are some storm drains backing up on Pebble Creek Drive. These have been reported to the county as of Aug 2025. If you find this continuing in the rainy season of 2026 please report to us
On July 9 2025 the Secound Court of Appeals found that the county acted within its legal authority when it denied the request to rezone PC golf course land for housing development.
We now have our own community Little Library for everyone to share and enjoy. Huge thanks to our neighbors The Gutgolds for presenting their idea at a recent HOA meeting. Their generous donation of this amenity brings a lovely new feature that enriches our community.
Located in the Village commons area between the 4 way stop and the south entrance at BBD where the bench and new crepe Myrtle’s are situated.
In mid April 10 2025 crepe myrtle bundles were planted throughout the Village on most neighborhood medians and at the “park” on Regents where the bench sits.
Expect little bursts of purple soon!
The Spring community wide garage sale is scheduled for April 17-18 2026

A fun Easter Egg Hunt is planned for Saturday April 4 starting at 11:00AM. There will be hundreds of plastic Easter eggs filled with candy toys and golden eggs sponsored by Dr Michael Green General Dentistry filled with dollar bills. It is open to all Pebble Creek residents. I hear that the Easter bunny is planning to swing by and say hello and pose for pictures. It will be held at the Village Green Located at the middle median by Cypresswood Circle and Pebble Creek Drive. It is not sponsored by either HOA. All children must be accompanied by an adult and participate at their own risk. Please be mindful of resident’s yards and careful not to block driveways.
On Nov 25 2024 the Monday before Thanksgiving a fence began going up along the perimeter of the course. On Monday Dec 2 an injured deer was reported and believed “put down”, on that same day a resident posted that a deer was in her yard which is not on the course and on Tues Dec 3 a Facebook post said a deer in the middle of the road on Fox Hearst. The fence is allowed as long as it stays within county guidelines for fences.

TECO had cleaned out branches encrouching the raised power lines between PC and Cross Creek quite a while back. There are TECO stakes and flags along Regents Park at the south entrance. They are planning to bury the lines at some point but it probably won’t be until 2025. We hope this improves our power losses during storms especially for our Village residents along Regents !
On June 17, 2024 there was a car chase and fatal shooting at our South Entrance.

January 9 2024 the new board took office
The 4 way stop at Regents Park and Pebble Creek Drive continues to have issues with vehicles running thru it, sometimes it’s a slow roll other times it’s no attempt to slow or to stop at all. We have contacted the public works department and they were very responsive but all that can be offered right now is to increased the sheriffs presence at that stop. They put in a request for us to have a Hillsborough County Sheriff station themselves at that stop and see what they can do to slow people down and enforce stopping at the sign. It is a violation and a ticketable offense to speed on Regents Park and it is a ticketable action to run that stop sign.
Speed humps are not an option due to Regents being a thru fare, in addition humps are now the community‘s responsibility financially. We are looking into trimming of branches that are encroaching on the stop sign.
