Please be patient project is moving slower than expected

County Road improvement continues

There is a curing period before the final markings can be placed on the road. Thermoplastics are only about 65% complete. These are the green emblems for bike lanes etc. A flashing crosswalk was added at the Middle and North entrance for safety of pedestrians. Final grading and sodding still need to be done

We are one neighborhood

There are Live Oak trees that the county had no other option but to remove along Regents Park Drive because they were buckling the road and sidewalks. The roots could not be cut without severely weakening the large trees and this would cause risk of falling trees especially during hurricane season.  They are not located within the Village section but we are glad to see that they have been replaced with decent sized slower growing Elms. They will be watered for 90 days and the grass that was damaged in the construction process will be re-sodded.
